Intense Ruby-red color. The nose has a very complex but subtle profile with a very elegant perfume of fresh summer fruit with spices and flowers notes. The blackberry and cassis notes give way to violets and lavender, a classic character from cool climate Syrah. As it opens in the glass the spices appear with white pepper, rosemary, licorice and cedar and very gentle oak very well integrated. In the palate is soft and shows nice acidity with structure and gentle grippy tanins that foresee a great ageing potential. We recommend decanting when young. Ideal with red meats, specially lamb, ripe cheeses and spicy dishes.Winery Info/ Brand

Region Info/ Origin
Leyda Valley is a small sub-area of the San Antonio Valley, a wine-producing sub-region, part of the bigger Aconcagua wine region. The Leyda Valley is located 90km to the west of Santiago and it is right on the Pacific Ocean. This cool-climate region experiences the effects of the Humboldt Current and consequently produces vibrant and fresh wines. The Leyda Valley wine region produces excellent examples of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir.
