Description/ Tasting Notes
Medium to deep garnet-purple colour, enticing scents of chocolate-covered cherries, crushed red currants and mulberries with touches of baking spices, potpourri and bay leaves plus hint of fallen leaves. Sumptuously elegant, refreshing and medium-bodied with gorgeous, expressive, perfumed red fruits and very fine, very firm tannins. Its remarkable intensity, freshness and very firm frame suggest a long-lived Pichon Baron.Winery Info/ Brand

Region Info/ Origin

Pauillac is home to several of the world's most famous wine and the region lies in an inauspicious small village in Médoc. Pauillac sprawls over the land size of about 8.8 square miles, is highly optimised for wine production and accounts for a rather disproportionate amount of fine, expensive wine in Bordeaux.
