Nice ruby, brilliant and clear colour, with purple tints. Pleasant and open, with black fruits, such as raspberry and blackberry aromas, with a spicy touch and a light woody final. Domaine Belleville was created in Rully at the beginning of the 20th Century, operating 18 hectares of vineyards located from Gevrey Chambertin to Mercurey, and since the end of 2017 have since converted to organic. Acquired in 2017 by Denise Dupre, Mark Nunelly, and its director, Jean-Luc Vitoux, who are also owners of Champagne Leclerc Briant, which was acquired in 2012, Les Parcellaires de Saulx, and Château de la Commaraine (Pommard 1er cru monopole). Its wines are made in the strict respect of its parcellaire, where each wine coming from a single plot of estate to highlight the diversity of the terroirs.

Burgundy is a region in east-central France known for its wine, including namesake Pinot Noirs, Chablis and Beaujolais. The area is crisscrossed by a network of navigable canals and studded with grand châteaux, some of which, are now luxury hotels. The capital, Dijon, of mustard fame, is home to the imposing Palace of the Dukes, where the distinguished Musée des Beaux-Arts was established in 1787.
