Region Info/ Origin
The Wairarapa is a small wine region with a big reputation in New Zealand. If you mention the Wairarapa to most wine experts, the wine label that rings the bell first would be martinborough Pinot Noir. Yet there is far more to martinborough wine than just Pinot Noir and a lot more to the Wairarapa region than just Martinborough. You are encouraged to make a trip to the winery if you are on a vacation in New Zealand, and you might be in for a big surprise.
