Silver-gray, heavily weathered slate.  Intense dark cherry.  Very fine minerality, beautiful length.

And most of its production utilizes organic method which consist of environmentally-friendly winegrowing, which do not include fertiliser as well as herbicides and insecticides.

Region Info/ Origin

Brauneberg is a village in the district of Bereich Bernkastel in Germany's Mosel region. The name Brauneberg means 'brown hill', and comes from the reddish-brown color of the local soils – drawn from high levels of iron oxide in the decomposed slate. It is this believed that this particular soil composition gives a certain richness and structure to Brauneberger wines.
