Description/ Tasting Notes

Expressive nose with spicy and citrusy fragrances like cinnamon, ginger and mango. Ripe aromas of white pepper and peppermint appears on aeration. Lovely structure, well-rounded and balanced, exotic fragrances (passion fruit, pineapple) and rose notes. Unctuous and pleasant acidity, long and persistent palate.

Region Info/ Origin

Alsace is a northeastern French region on the Rhine River plain. Bordering Germany and Switzerland, it has alternated between German and French control over the centuries and reflected a mix of the two cultures. Its capital, Strasbourg, is centred on the Ill River's Grand Ïle island, bordered by canals and home to the Gothic Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Strasbourg, with its animated astronomical clock.
