Region Info/ Origin
The western boundary of Champagne-Ardenne is located about 90 miles east of Paris. The Region in the north-east of France, is one of the largest producers of wine in the world depending on the vintage. Its landscapes include the départements of Ardennes, Marne, Aube and Haute-Marne. However, the "region" designated for the production of Champagne, also includes parts of the adjoining départements. Moreover, the old French province of Champagne roughly covered the same areas.
