Description/ Tasting Notes

The bouquet peels back with dark fruit aromas, baking spice and Mediterranean herb. The effect is seamless and smooth. A velvety texture is accented by full-bodied richness and just enough freshness to keep the palate energized.Mulberry and plum aromas and flavors are backed by earth, spice and tobacco notes in this dense red. Tails off a little on the finish.

Winery Info/ Brand

Fattoria La Massa is situated in the heart of Panzano in Chianti where the tradition of producing Chianti wine happened there since the 15th century. When Giampaolo Motta acquired the property in 1992, he emphasised on careful selection of grapes and soft extraction from the fermentation and maceration processes. The wine are then matured in oak for about 7 to 8 months, ensuring full polymerisation of the phenolic components to provide complexity and elegance.

Region Info/ Origin

Tuscany is a region in central Italy which produces wine, including Chianti, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Morellino di Scansano and Brunello di Montalcino. Having a strong linguistic and cultural identity, it is sometimes considered "a nation within a nation". Tuscany is recognised globally as one of the most prolific wine regions in Europe. Where its vineyard is, the terroir produces a comprehensive range for friends of the world and with its various styles of wine-making.
