La Valentina Farm was born on the hills overlooking Spoltore, which is near Pescara in Central Italy, in 1990. The owners, Sabatino, Roberto e Andrea Di Properzio, have been running the company since putting their development project into action in 1994.a family owned small sized (350,000 btls) boutique vinery Their wine are natural products from our terroir: a unique combination of terrain and soil which they try to convey in every single bottle The local micro-climate (sea and mouantains) and the land, to which the vines are bound and so we-adapted contribute to make wine of a unique distinctive character . They intervene as little as possible in the natural processes and we adhere completely to the principles of sustainable development.

Abruzzo is an Italian region located in the east of Rome on the Adriatic coast. It contains 3 national parks: hill top medieval and Renaissance towns and numerous nature reserves. The Apennine mountains form much of its interior, and the coastal plain has sandy beaches and dune systems. Where the winery is, the characteristics of soil as well as micro-climate allowed the grape varieties such as Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon on Abruzzo's terroir to thrive.
