Description/ Tasting Notes
The 2015 Les Griffons de Pichon Baron is medium to deep garnet-purple in color with a nose of black currants, black cherries and mulberries with earth, tar and meat suggestions. The medium-bodied palate is firm with a muscular core of earth and herbs-accented fruit and a long finish. Solid, with a direct core of black currant and plum coulis flavors lined with a graphite note. Singed alder and warm tobacco details score the finish. Nicely focused in feel overall, lingering with a juicy edge.tannin and purity.ÂWinery Info/ Brand

Region Info/ Origin

Pauillac is home to several of the world's most famous wine and the region lies in an inauspicious small village in Médoc. Pauillac sprawls over the land size of about 8.8 square miles, is highly optimised for wine production and accounts for a rather disproportionate amount of fine, expensive wine in Bordeaux.
