Description/ Tasting Notes
Amazing dry wine of Burgundy which is elegant yet intense and complex. Prominent earth tones and hint of cherries.Winery Info/ Brand

The estate Muzard belongs to a very old Santenoise family where one is winegrower from father to son for nine generations (Jacques Muzard in 1645). Mr. and Mrs. Lucien Muzard structured the farming in the 60's by renting the vines in a first time then, buying them crafted by work.
Claude and Hervé Muzard now exploit the 17 hectares of the family estate, spread over different climates in Santenay, Chassagne Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault and Pommard. The overall domain production is 20% white wines.
The farm has managed to keep traditional methods (manual harvesting) while improving quality thanks to new techniques (in-box harvesting, sorting table, control of temperatures at vinification, etc.). All the aging of the wines is done in oak barrels with a distribution, according to the vintages; 20 to 30% new barrels.
