Description/ Tasting Notes
Authentic expression of a more-nic soil that preserves softness, salinity and a bouquet of Mediterranean flavorWinery Info/ Brand

Villa Crespia made of this peculiar features of the area a new interpretation of Franciacorta. We chose lands where to plant vineyards in order to represent all its pedo-climatic variability. We planted every vineyard respecting soil’ features, choosing grapes and clones in order to stand out differently, we wanted grapes to bring into the winery variability and personality. If the vineyard is the brain of Villa Crespia, the winery is its heart. Through the wine that is born in the winery, we have to be able to express the hard efforts of the work in the countryside. So the news of Franciacorta Villa Crespia is that every wine testifies and represents a single different landscape. We built the winery of Villa Crespia in order to treat separately grapes from every vineyard. We tried to work by using gravity without manipulations, fully respecting the raw material. We work focusing on pedological purity of the soil, emphasizing climatic variability of different seasons to best represent single landscapes.
Region Info/ Origin

Franciacorta morenic hills are linked to fluvial-glacial angles and with other areas more or less rich in clay. This variability in soils designs different landscapes that had been described for the first time by the zoning project performed at the beginning of the ’90s in the last century.
