Explore the Pinot Noirs of Burgundy, California, and many more

Titillate your senses with the elegant and delicate Pinot Noir. Native to the well-drained, limestone based subsoils of Burgundy, France, it is a thin-skinned grape that grows in small, tight bunches.
Pinot Noir is the parent of many other grape varieties, and is rarely blended with other grapes, except in the production of Champagne, where it is blended with other varieties to provide body and backbone.
Besides Burgundy, other key regions with notable Pinot Noirs include California's Russian River Valley and the Central Otago regions of New Zealand.
Due to its bright acidity and rich fruit character,  Pinot Noir pairs with a wide variety of food - fruity versions pair well with delicate poached salmon, while more tannic ones go superbly with rich, duck breast.
